The Perch Story

Caroline Robert founded Perch in 2007 as a way to invest in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Perch is housed in an 1860's cottage in the historic Garden District. Through tireless restoration work Caroline brought the building back to life, revealing grand windows and 13 foot ceilings. 2844 Magazine Street is now home to the Perch storefront, offices, and workspace.

The Perch team prides themselves in forward-thinking style by combining vintage, contemporary, and custom pieces. The goal is to bring each client's unique vision to life through active involvement in every step of the project. Along with custom window treatments & upholstery, Perch offers full design services such as space planning, staging, & color consultation. Caroline scours both the contemporary and vintage markets to curate the perfect style for each individual.
